A great turn out for the FIRST Warrington BID General Meeting

Warrington BID received a great turn out for the First BID General Meeting on Tuesday 5th February.

At the General meeting the key achievements of BID where reported by Greville Kelly and Isabelle Smith from the Warrington BID team, including the work on the animated Makers Market, which saw a series of exciting acts and performer bring the town to life before Christmas and footfall increase by 10,000 people on the Makers Market weekend. Attendees also heard about other investments made by the BID including new Christmas lights in Palmyra Square and Bridge Street, and the distribution of community safety kits to consumers.

We took an in-depth look into themes set out in our 5-Year Business Plan, how we are providing better marketing and promotion for Warrington Town Centre, better security initiatives, enhanced transport links in-an-out of the area & much more.
